I'm listening to an audio book at the moment by Prince Harry 'The Spare' - I'm finding it a really enjoyable listen, which is good because it's over 9hrs long.
I was listening to some chapters today and what peaked my interest was hearing about Meghan's dogs Guy & Bogart. It was wonderful to hear that she had got two rescue dogs and how much she obviously loved them and they shared a wonderful bond.
As the story unfolds about the dogs, we hear about the awful time Meghan had to endure with the constant hounding of the press and the fear and trauma that caused both her and her dogs.

When sitting with (then) Prince Charles to listen and choose music for their wedding, Harry talks of how Meghan reported she had used Chopin music with the dogs 24hrs a day to keep them calm. We know of the healing and calming effects of music, and there are certain frequencies that have deeper healing impacts on our bodies and minds. I will do another blog on music and sound therapy another time
When she moved to the U.K to live with Harry and leave her Canadian life behind, she brought one of her dogs, Guy, with her but sadly she could not bring Bogart because he had become an aggressive guard dog when he was around Meghan and therefore one of her neighbours had agreed to adopt the dog into their family.
Now you might think I'm about to blast Meghan for leaving the dog behind, but you would be wrong! I felt such compassion for both Meghan and her dogs.
It's not a surprise to me that these traumatic events will have had such an impact on the dogs directly, but also we have to remember that our animals try and protect us and care for us by absorbing some of our emotions and shielding us from the full impact of them.
I have no doubt that those dogs have trapped emotions, probably shared trapped emotions, and most likely absorbed emotions from Meghan.
The point I'm making here is again that there is an inextricable link between humans and animals and the best way to provide a guiding light to the route back to balance and harmony in our lives is to do so for both animals and humans.
I have countless stories of people asking for help with their animals, and me gently offering to include them in the session or provide a separate session for them, because it is clear to see that their lives, and energy fields are entangled and that healing one would not be as effective or long lasting as working with them both and clearing the core issues causing concerns (which are often similar) in both parties.
I'm off to listen to more of Harrys story now, with deep compassion and respect for his honesty and difficult path.
Harry, Meghan if for some bizarre and awesome reason you read this blog please get in touch, I would love to be able to offer some support for you family - two legged and four.
Take care everyone and give your animal friends an extra love today for being awesome undercover healers!
