For as far back as I can remember, I have loved and been devoted to animals and wanted to be around them. I grew up with my ‘brother’ Tom – a gorgeous Chocolate brown Standard Poodle – my memories of sharing my father’s motorbike side car with Tom always makes me smile.

From hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, dogs, cats, stick insects, chickens and a very special Cockerel ‘Cockerella’, ducks, sheep and catapillars. - I was a friend to all and deeply loved them.

I have always worked within the health and healing space. As a carer, nurse and then midwife, I have worked within the women's health space for decades - predominantly with those who are on their journey to becoming a mother and beyond, and subsequently their babies and wider families. I branched out into safeguarding and child protection and in my own way I have always been an advocate for those I work with – including the animals buried deep within human chaos.

I am so blessed and fortunate to have a beautiful soul for a mother, who always, always supports my goals and taught me from a very early age about energy and natural methods of healing. I have always striven to find the ‘alternative’ or more natural and holistic way of being with those I serve.

My deep desire to work with animals to help alleviate dis-ease and dis-comfort and facilitate peace and wholeness has never left me. I was attuned to Usui Reiki in my late teens, with my first 'patient' being our dog Poppy, and went on to become a Reiki Master in both Usui and Holy Fire Reiki. I have continued to learn new skills and techniques to increase the ‘tools’ available to us to fulfil my heart’s deepest desires.

My healing partnership with my first horse Magic, has changed my life in ways I cannot describe.​ Magic has been my biggest teacher, advocate and pushed me forward to where I needed to be, whilst always being my friend and supporting me. He gives me unwavering strength and support, and is my Hero!

I know that alongside working with animals, working with their humans is something that helps them both - there is no real separation and so we cannot separate this in our healing work. 

​

After decades of working with people in the medical field, I now choose to focus my work more in line with nature. A deep passion of mine is working with vibrational essences, be they flower, earth, or otherwise and you will find that I use them often as a supporting tool for healing, alongside essential oils and other elements of nature.
